About
One man, one mower, one Hutto route.
I’m Troy. I’ve been mowing yards in Hutto, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Georgetown since 2017. No crew, no franchise, no auto-renewing contract — just the same truck pulling up the same morning every week.

“Same morning. Sharp blade. Gate latched.”
— Troy, Hutto
My story
Started in 2017.Still mowing.
I started Mr T’s Lawn Care with one walk-behind mower, a trimmer, and a 5-by-8 trailer parked off Country Estates Drive. The “T” is just my first initial — Troy. The “Mr” was my dad’s idea so the sign on the truck would look like it meant business.
9+ years later, it’s still just me. I have intentionally not grown into a crew — because the second I do, I become the guy answering the phone instead of the guy mowing your lawn, and that’s not the version of this business I want to run. So I cap the route, mow what I can mow well, and tell you straight if I’m full.
I don’t spray weed killer unless you ask. I don’t do high-pressure quotes. I check the back gate before I leave because Hutto has too many escape-artist dogs. Most of my customers came from a neighbor pointing across the fence — and I’d like to keep it that way.
- Insured — general liability on the truck and equipment
- Same operator every visit — no rotating subs
- Sharp blade, gate-latch checked, walks blown clean
- Cancel any time — no annual contracts
Where I mow
Hutto neighborhoods, mostly.
Country Estates is home base. From there I run weekly routes through Star Ranch, Brushy Creek Meadows, Emory Farms, Riverwalk, Glenwood, and the Highlands — plus a handful of regular stops in Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Georgetown along US-79.
